The Colorist Society is the first organization solely dedicated to recognizing the achievements of the global colourist community. Focused on advancing the craft of color grading and correction, the Colorist Society aims to promote education, awareness, and the artistic and technical aspects of the profession.
Unlike a union or guild, the Colorist Society serves as a cultural and educational resource. Membership is open to professionals across the industry, including colorists, DITs, editor/colorists, telecine operators, finishers, color scientists, and more. Each full member application is carefully vetted regardless of credits or standing in the community.
